Smucker's Stars on Ice

Smucker's Stars on Ice is proud to have Olympic Silver Medalist and United States Champion, Sasha Cohen, joining the tour for the 2007-2008 season. Cohen is headlining the all-new Smucker's Stars on Ice production, which will play 40 shows throughout the U.S. between November 27, 2007 and April 12, 2008.

The perennial crowd favorite is joining America's premier figure skating production full-time, after skating as a guest performer in nine shows in 2007. Sasha's exquisite talents complement an amazing cast of Olympic and World Champions in the show founded and produced by skating icon Scott Hamilton.

Consistently one of the top skaters in the world, Sasha Cohen has placed among the top three in 20 consecutive figure skating competitions. Her trophy case bears testament to that impressive streak, as Sasha owns an Olympic silver medal; three World medals (two silver and one bronze); one U.S. title and four U.S. silver medals. Cohen's heavy medal performance has clearly struck a chord, leading to film and TV appearances, as well as endorsement deals with many of the most recognizable brands in the world. Despite not skating competitively in 2007, Sasha's popularity continues to rise as evidenced by a recent Harris Poll that lists Cohen among the top ten female athletes in the United States in all sports.

"Sasha Cohen is one of the greatest artists in the history of the sport," said Scott Hamilton. "She consistently mesmerizes audiences with her extraordinary ability and on-ice presence. She may be remembered in the same league as Janet Lynn, as one of the few to ever grace the ice with that level of spirit and beauty. Smucker's Stars on Ice, and our loyal fans, are fortunate to have her as part of our ever-growing family."
