I met Sasha in St. Louis/Nationals 2006. This picture of me and Sasha was taken after the Exhibition Skate back at the official hotel. I was fortunate enough to meet Sasha Cohen on April 29th at the pre-show meet and greet before the afternoon Champions on Ice show. She was incredibly sweet and it was great to finally meet her after admiring her skating for over six years. |

Dear Sasha Cohen,
I am 9 years old. I have been skating for 3 years. I skated with you at Skatefest at Wollman Rink in Central Park. I had a great time. I was so happy to be there. I know that you practice at the ice house. I go to competitions there. I hope I could see you there sometimes. I won a gold medal at the Hershey Open in August and then a silver medal in the final round. I was so proud of myself. You must get so proud of yourself , too! Happy Birthday!

This picture was taken at the Marshalls Skate Fest in Houston, Texas on Sept. 19, 2004. These three girls are my daughter’s friends from the Aerodrome – Willowbrook where my daughter skates. From Left to Right – Kira, Sasha, Chase, Kelsey. They had special T-Shirts made up for the event. They had Sasha Rocks on the back. This was a wonderful event that I am sure my daughter will remember for many years to come! Thanks Sasha for participating! My daughter is 4, and when she refers to the ‘pretty skating ladies’, you are ALWAYS mentioned.
