A high-flying Sasha during practice. Sasha competes at the 2002 Olympics.
Sasha and Jeremy go shopping. There's always time for a phone call.

Q&A on the Olympics
What was it like speaking to President Bush at the Opening Ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Games?
Very exciting and unbelievable. One of the highlights of the Olympics.
What was it like stepping onto the ice at Sale Lake Ice Center before a crowd of thousands of people?
Very nerve-racking, but I just focused and tried my best throughout both programs.
What does it take to become one of the best skaters in the world?
Dedication, perseverance, desire, determination and will power. Not to mention a good attitude.
What did you do in Salt Lake city for fun?
I shopped and had three manicures.
Did you have a chance to meet other Olympic athletes and build new friendships?
Definitely. I made friends with the bob sled team, ski jumpers, and even speed skaters. We are really supportive of each other.
How did you feel walking with all of the other athletes during the closing Ceremonies?
Really happy and sad it was all over. I almost couldn't believe it, though I had a great time and learned a lot.
