Sasha does Hollywood!

It's official. Sasha will appear in the May 5 episode of "Vegas". She'll be playing herself in what a TV Guide source says is a "big scene" with Josh Duhamel, Vanessa Marcil and Crossing Jordan's Jerry O'Connell.

The episode, Fidelity, Security, Delivery, was taped Wednesday, April 5.

Sasha is a star among stars;
Movies may not be far off

Sasha and Hollywood appear to be a match made in heaven! Olympic Silver Medalist Sasha Cohen walked the famous red carpet, posed from one end to the other, and attended the pre- and post-Oscar parties this past weekend.

Sasha was a special correspondent for “Inside Edition”. She attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party hosted by Graydon Carter and the 14th Annual Elton John Aids Foundation Oscar Party.

Sasha also attended several pre-Oscar parties and shopping outings, the prestigious Rodeo Drive Walk of Style plus a W Magazine Retreat. She also attended the Motion Picture and Television Fund event by Jeffrey Katzenberg at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

On Oscar night, George Clooney, who won Best Supporting Actor in Syriana, and Jennifer
Anniston were among the stars chatting with Sasha about her Olympic experience.

“They were so nice. We talked about 10 minutes about my skating and they were interested in the Olympics,” Sasha said.

Everywhere Sasha turned, there was a celebrity. Elton John was among the celebrities posing with Sasha.

“It was so much fun,” to be among the stars and meet them,” Sasha said. “As a little girl I always dreamed of being at the Oscars.”

Sasha has walked red carpets before, but nothing like the star-studded ones she found herself on this past weekend.

“There were so many photographers! I loved the attention. When they
asked me to pose, I posed all the way down to the other end,” Sasha said with a
laugh.

Sasha wore four elegant dresses designed by Pamela Dennis to the different parties.

She was stunning in a platinum strapless empire raw silk gown with crystal encrusted detailing. She was enchanting in a black strapless lace gown with trumpeted hemline adorned with vintage brooch. She was gorgeous in a jet encrusted corset gown with ribbon detailing, and she was striking in a black beaded empired tiered chiffon gown with jet encrusted bodice.

Sasha said the jewelry was available by designers for celebrities. “They had such an assortment of beautiful jewelry. We got to pick out what we wanted to wear. It was so gorgeous.”

“I had so much fun getting dressed up and made up. It took about two hours to be made up for the parties. I had a makeup artist and about 15 people were involved in the whole process.”

Sasha, who wants to try acting, made an impression on actor-comedian Ben Stiller at the Vanity Fair party. Stiller talked with Sasha about his next movie project, a comedy focusing on figure skating.

Sasha said she “wants to do it. It’s not like it would be a stretch and hopefully I’ll get to be funny. There are a lot of characters in skating, Sasha said.

Sasha just came off a whirlwind tour of shows last week. She appeared on Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel, Regis and Kelly and Ellen DeGeneres shows.

Sasha has resumed skating with her next competition scheduled at the World Championships at Calgary, Canada. The qualifying round is two weeks from Wednesday,

“I’ve already been back on the ice practicing. Things are going well,” Sasha said.

Sasha made the scene at two pre-Oscar parties, at the L.A. Confidential Magazine soiree in the Meridian Hotel's SKY BAR and Vanity Fair's AMPED FOR AFRICA Benefit for Oprah's Angel Network.
